Teen Charged With Vehicular Homicide
Boy Dragged to Death in Wilmington Jan. 9th

A 17-year-old girl now faces charges of vehicular homicide in the second degree, after she struck a nine-year-old boy who was riding his scooter near 25th and Jessup Streets last month. Latika Wright was charged based on a review by the Delaware Attorney General's Office and Wilmington Police. Thomas White died of injuries suffered when he was hit and dragged two blocks. The driver got out and fled the scene, and she faces additional charges of leaving the scene of a collision resulting in death and failure to report a fatal collision.
